Prior to the start of a twin bill on June 8, 1952 against the Cincinnati Reds, Dodgers manager Chuck Dressen tells Cal Abrams that if he wants to stay with the team the bench warmer will need to verbally taunt the skipper of the opposing team. Much to his chagrin, the spare outfielder who spends the entire first game heckling his opponents and their leader, is informed between games he has been traded to the Cincinnati Reds effective tomorrow and will need to report to his new boss, one very angry Rogers Hornsby.
